&pageText=The patrol operations order or fragmentary order may direct the patrol leader to make scheduled halts at certain points or times along the route. In addition to reporting these halts, other actions are required. Click the buttons to learn more.& &label1=Security& &label2=Guides& &label3=Recon& &label4=Maintenance& &label5=Situation report& &popText1=The patrol must establish local security within available resources whenever it halts for any reason.& &popText2=If the scheduled halt is at a high traffic area, you must post a traffic guide to keep civilian traffic away from your elements.& &popText3=The patrol leader will direct dismounted reconnaissance of the immediate area if the situation warrants further attention.& &popText4=If the patrol is mounted, the scheduled halt should include time for refueling and other during operation maintenance checks.& &popText5=Any scheduled halt will normally be a reporting point, so it is important that the patrol leader sends a situation report (SITREP) when halting.&
